Large Passager Plan crashes in France !!

An Airbus A320 carrying 144 passengers, two pilots and four flight attendants crashed en route from Barcelona to Duesseldorf.

A Lufthansa Germanwings passenger jet crashed near the town of Barcelonnette. It lost contact with French air traffic control at a height of 6,000 feet, the airline said. The cause of the crash was unknown, according to French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, who said it was unlikely anyone survived.

The crash site is "particularly hard to access," Hollande said. Search and rescue operations were hampered by bad weather. Debris was spotted at an altitude of 2,000 meters (6,562 feet), suggesting it was on a mountain on the French Alps, France's Interior Ministry said

German chancellor Angela Merkel expressed her condolences to the victims of the crash on March 24, saying she would do everything to help uncover its causes. A crisis hotline was set up by the German foreign ministry. Merkel is set to visit the crash site March 25.
